Please read these terms carefully before using One Day Stronger ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. What this app is

One Day Stronger is a private, on-device support tool designed to help people in recovery from gambling addiction. It provides journaling, mood tracking, educational content, breathing exercises, CBT-based exercises, and crisis-support resources.

2. What this app is not

One Day Stronger is not a medical device, a healthcare provider, or a substitute for professional treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychiatric condition, including gambling disorder. Nothing in the app constitutes medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, having thoughts of self-harm, or need urgent support, please contact a licensed professional, a crisis helpline, or emergency services immediately. Helpline numbers are provided within the app, but the app itself does not monitor, respond to, or escalate crisis situations — it has no way to know when you are in danger.

3. Who can use this app

This app is intended for use by adults (18+). If you are under 18, please use this app only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or qualified professional.

4. Your data

One Day Stronger does not require an account and stores your data only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

You are responsible for backing up your own data. Because all data lives only on your device, deleting the app, losing your device, or a device failure can result in permanent loss of your journal history and progress. Use the "Export my data" feature in Settings regularly if this matters to you.

5. No guarantee of outcomes

Recovery from gambling addiction is a personal and often non-linear process. We make no guarantees, express or implied, that using this app will result in any particular outcome, including continued abstinence from gambling. Statistics, educational content, and milestone messaging in the app are intended to inform and encourage, not to promise results.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app beyond what is permitted by applicable law
• Use the app in any way that could harm, disable, or impair its functionality for other users

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, One Day Stronger and its developer(s) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including but not limited to loss of data, financial loss, or emotional distress. The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

8. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
