Startline

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

Startline ("the app", "we", "our") is built around a simple principle: what you write belongs to you, and to you alone. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

What the app stores, and where

Everything below is stored locally on your device only, using standard on-device app storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere by the app.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, reminders are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. They are not push notifications, they do not come from a server, and no information about you is sent anywhere in order to deliver them. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

Purchases

Startline is free to use. If you choose to buy Startline Plus, the purchase is processed by Apple, and we use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is active so the app can unlock the right features. This involves a random, app-generated identifier and your purchase receipt. It does not include your name, email address, or anything you have written in the app. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Startline is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your control

You can erase everything at any time from Settings, using "Start fresh (clear all data)". Deleting the app also removes its local data from your device.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
